316 SS Compression Fitting, 1/4 Inch Tube X 1/8 Inch NPT Reducing Connector

The JW-Lok compression tube fitting is made of type 316 stainless steel, and connects tubing to threaded pipe conforming to the National Pipe Thread (NPT) standard. This coupling is for a fixed connection between tubing and pipe made of stainless steel. A twin ferrule compression fitting connects to tubing on one end for a leak-resistant seal in high-pressure, high-vacuum, and high-vibration applications, and a male NPT connector on the other end connects to threaded pipe.

Pipe and tube fittings are components used for connecting, terminating, controlling flow, and changing the direction of piping in many different industries. Compression fittings do not require tools or sealants, and are useful in installations where a heat source, such as a soldering torch, is prohibited. Compression Fittings use a nut and ferrule system to join tubing to a threaded part.

• Male NPT threads on one end and a tube connection on the other
• 316 Stainless steel for higher strength and greater corrosion resistance
• Double ferrule construction for expanded leak resistance
• Maximum operating pressure rating:
  316 Stainless Steel 1/4" connection: 8000 psi at 72°F
• Maximum working temperatures: -325°F to 800°F (stainless steel)
• NPT Threads comply with ASME B1.20.1, SAE AS71051.
  Installation torque complies with UL 842.
