Augers are forged and welded by hand in the Netherlands. These durable steel augers are built with Eijkelkamp ingenuity and craftsmanship. Versatile, lightweight hand augers are easy to carry, require no assembly in the field and work well in all types of soil. The one-piece, welded construction won’t come apart during use and works best at depths down to 3’. The standard one-piece crossbar handle is welded to the steel shaft, which is then welded to the Auger at the bottom.

Single edelman auger, sand type, 2 3/4" (7cm). Sandy soils are not cohesive. To keep the sample inside the auger, this type has broad blades.
