Conduit Outlet Boxes allow connection of straight conduit runs, branch conduit runs and 90° bends and provide access to conductors for pulling, splicing, maintenance and future changes and upgrades.
Features:
- Explosion proof, dust-ignition proof
- Various hub arrangements and hub size combinations with mounting feet/flange and covers
- Ductile iron bodies have high tensile strength, ductility and provide great resistance to corrosion, impact, and shock
- Internally threaded body with externally threaded cover
- Various domed covers and canopies. GRTS adds cable attached cover.
- Standard o-rings provide raintight fit; NEMA 3, 4. GRTS adds NEMA 4X with aluminum body/cover.
- Internal ground screw standard
- Smooth, rounded integral bushing in each hub type box protects conductor insulation
- GRTS has optional factory-installed drain and terminal blocks (10 AWG capacity)
- GRTS Series is ideally suited for stanchion mounting lighting applications
- Used with threaded metal conduit for general purpose wiring
- Function as sealing fittings when used with sealing covers. See local electrical codes for restrictions
