Waterra SS-13 Stainless Steel Inertial Pump Foot Valve, Low Flow

Waterra SS-13 Stainless Steel Foot Valve, Low Flow

The Waterra SS-13 Low Flow Inertial Pump foot valve is made of stainless steel and has a 1/2 inch OD (13 mm). The SS-13 is used with Waterra Low Flow HDPE or LDPE Tubing (1/2” X 3/8”). The tapered male thread self taps into the polyethylene tubing making a semi-secure connection. If this valve is used in a deep monitoring wells (> 50’), a stainless screw may be driven through the poly tubing and into the hole in the valve’s threading to permanently attach the valve to the tubing.

Contains No PFAS.

A Waterra SS-13  Inertial Pump is typically operated by hand or with the Waterra Lever Pump, a powered Waterra tubing actuator such as the Hydrolift-2 is usually not necessary. This system can be used in 2 inch monitoring wells but is best suited in 1” piezometers and can provide lifts of up to 100 feet. Flow rates are a function of pumping speed and lift requirements and can be as much as 1/2 gallon per minute.

The SS-13 Foot Valve is designed for use in narrow diameter wells or 2” monitoring wells where access is restricted. The low cost, reliability and durability make the Waterra Inertial Pump an excellent choice as a dedicated monitoring well pump.
