The Waterra Well Slug (WWS-2X3) is a fixed volume, cylindrical solid for performing instantaneous, rising or falling head tests in boreholes and calculating hydraulic conductivity. The Waterra Well Slug is designed specifically for 2″ Schedule 40 monitoring wells, however it can also be used in larger diameter monitoring wells.
The Well Slug consists of three sections of solid acetal thermoplastic, a material well known for it’s durability and chemical resistance. The sections can be used either individually or together to produce greater volumetric displacement in the well.
